21. Practical remake activity Evaluation

Evaluation

We recreated the title sequence of a Gone Girl we started but taking note of the sequence in order to form a storyboard and a shots list. I think this was successful as we managed to make a detailed shots list which would help us remake the sequence accurately. To back this we also made a storyboard to capture a combination of what we saw on screen to go with our shots. This was a success as we were able to capture the key scene which contribute to the essence of the title sequence in order to bring in the audience.

However when it came to filming the sequence we struggled to get all the shots we wrote down due to poor time keeping and location factors like being unable to get to certain areas we needed for the shots. Although we didn't get all the shots down we managed to get enough to build the title sequence and for it to get the tone and atmosphere across to the audience. We were also able to incorporate the voice over to go with the title sequence which was a success as we were able to match the actual title sequence.

Editing of the sequence was good due to us knowing the order of the scenes so we managed to bring everything together with the final cut coming out pretty good for our second prelim.
