27. Create an audience profile for your ideal target audience member

Our typical audience member could be a young male or female (most likely female) because most young males prefer action movies, or if they like thrillers, it will most likely be action thrillers. Young females tend to enjoy a suspense filled crime thriller.

The age group we would think would like to watch our movie would be between ages 16-26. The reason for this is because anyone younger than 16 or even 18 may find crime thrillers disturbing as there would be violent scenes. Similarly, anyone over 26 will most likely be more interested in movies that have less shots, and more action, that would make them think rather than enjoy fast shots and loud sounds. Moreover, over 26's wont usually be classified as 'young' adults, instead they may even have families and therefore prefer watching a family movie.
