Favourite Thriller

No Good Deed

I may not be the biggest fan of Thriller films, but my favourite thriller by far is No Good Deed(2014). It follows a serial on the run from police officers, he is  trying to get revenge on his ex-partner and her current boyfriend.

This movie appeals to me as it is real life situations with a plot twist of a psychopath serial killer.This  I enjoyed this film as there were a range of unexpected moments. The use of romance and lust also made the film exciting to watch. I also enjoyed this film as there where not to many gory, bloody scenes which appeal to some audiences.

Title Sequence

I feel this film had a very effective title sequence. Sound is used at the beginning of the title sequence, A news report which gives the background information of the main character, While the news report speaks there is use of slow pace music gives the senses of uncertainty as the music builds up in tempo. The titles are presented in medium font ,in the colour red which can connote to represent blood. There is a range of different shots used in this title sequence ; panning,close ups,tracking.
