8. Favourite film:
Hit-man: Agent 47:
My favourite film is Hit-man: Agent 47, its an action thriller movie. It revolves around Agent 47, the mysterious assassin or a "killing machine" who works for a top secret organization and Katia van Dees the long lost daughter of Dr, Piotr Likvenko, who is also the founder of the agent program. The beginning of the title sequence there are bold compressed white credits on black background that appears in jumbled order and static motion of the credits, playing over this is a voice over of the main female character who is talking about "creating a better man" and the creation of the Agent Program, including knowledge of the founder.
It then goes onto what looks like a flashback of this and graphical visual designs of a piece of DNA splitting with static motion with the moving images. There are what look like 'old black and white' clips of the process and making of the agents. The title sequence is showing this scientific and mysterious opening making the audience quite confused of what is actually the plot of the film. The voice over along with the moving images tells the stories beginning so the viewers have an idea of the Program but don't know how it is relevant or who the person speaking is.
She describes the Agents as "Humans without emotion, fear or remorse." and takes about the success but how the program ended and many others tried to open it again but they all failed so they are after the Founder and this tells us that everyone is after this one man, who has mysteriously disappeared, for his intelligence, but the only key to find him his daughter and it then moves into real time story. I would describe the title sequence as a narrative and quite stylized opening.
The order that the credits are in is:
