Dawn of the Dead, Spiderman movie

Kyle Cooper Believes that a good title sequence sets an expectation for the audience he also states that it will tail seamlessly into the film and the actual sequence will make the audience forget about everything and everywhere else as it causes you to become excited .
Kyle refers to some title sequences as 'Story based' he states that they give the backstory to the film. It can be seen as a clear metaphor or a poster 'like' pun relating specifically to the film
The problems a studio may face after an audience test screening is that they may realise they do not have enough of a budget to reshoot some scenes also the audience may not understand some of the particular aspects.Because of this cooper believes that a title sequence is important for a studio as it helps become a scene and can become a prologue and also helps add information which may have been left out.
The title sequence of Dawn of the dead used there title sequence to suggest there is a carnage going on all over the world due to there being zombies ,it also advances the plot as it adds a range of detail which is not included in the film
Cooper believes title sequences are very important as they help the film and gives a backstory. The fact that designs which are used can tell a whole story shows that it is moving in to the creation of content
