9. The 4 different types of film openings. Pick your favourite 'type' and embed example, explain why you like it

The 4 main types of film openings are

- Titles on a blank screen: usually different type faces on a blank screen, and bright font to provide contrast. It is not complex but quite effective depending on the genre. E.g. 'Psycho'

- Titles on still image: usually with hand drawn backgrounds, to set an a tone or atmosphere without too much action, also helps us guess the genre

-Titles over moving images: helps to set the scene and introduce main characters, to bring a metaphor

-Title using animation or motion: requires digital tech and stylised editing, integrated images etc.

My favourite type would be the title using animation or motion, not only does it get the audience excited, but it sets a tone or gives us a hint of the genre before the film even starts.
